What is your favourite self-help book? And why? Rising Strong by Brené Brown because reading this book is like chatting with a trusted friend. A book about getting back up, really useful when life throws a curve ball.
Why did you get involved in Shelf Help?
Most of life’s issues have been written about, whether by great philosophers or modern-day thought leaders. The idea of having the opportunity to discuss self-development books with like-minded people and talk about applying new concepts to ‘real life’ was compelling. By talking we can learn so much more, and it just seems to make life easier :)
What can people expect at your meetups?
