What is your favourite self-help book? And why? I really love The Kindness Method because it made me think about how I view myself and how to practice self compassion. I had many lightbulb moments doing the exercises in the book and it's a book / method that I return to often.

Why did you get involved in Shelf Help? When I discovered Shelf Help, I wasn't in the best place mentally and my friend suggested I take a look at it as somewhere to meet like-minded people who may be feeling the same and also to get me reading again, and reading books that would benefit me. Before I was into reading lots of second world war books! My first Shelf Help meet up was the 1st Birthday, I went on my own and I absolutely loved it. It literally changed my life, I'd found my tribe. I wanted to help as much as I could with the skills I have - marketing / digital plus I think Toni is one of the best humans ever (she had paid me to write this) so spending time with her is great. :)

What can people expect at your meetups? A safe space to talk about what you want without judgement, Shelf Help is more about books, it's a place to discuss whatever you want with people who will respond with kindness and care.
