About thE AUTHOR/EXPERT, DR INGRID CLAYTON

Dr. Ingrid Clayton is a licensed clinical psychologist with a master’s in transpersonal psychology and a PhD in clinical psychology. She is the author of Fawning, a guide to the vital newly-discovered topic in psychology (you've heard of fight, flight and freeze, but fawning might be the most common trauma response of all) and has had a thriving private practice for more than sixteen years. She is a regular contributor to Psychology Today, where her blog Emotional Sobriety has received more than one million views. She lives in Los Angeles, California.
