your mental health workout

By Zoë Aston

For September and October 2021 we’ll be celebrating the brilliant workbook from Zoë Aston, Your Mental Health Workout.

We’ll be working through it as a community, sharing discoveries, insights and aha moments as we ‘workout’ together towards healthier and happier minds.

We’d love you to read along with us, and on this page you’ll find:

  • information on the book and author Zoë

  • a suggested reading schedule

  • an invitation to our Live mental health workshop with author Zoë

  • information on our digital book club, The Clubhouse (doors close Monday 13th September)

  • links to get the book

If there was something ‘wrong’ with your body - if you had a headache, a broken wrist, a tummy ache or something even more sinister - you’d most likely either know how to treat it or seek out the relevant help without too much difficulty. Mental health should be the same. I want all of us to know exactly what to do when we feel sad, anxious or depressed and when we are grieving or there is a big change happening. I want to supply the kit and skills needed to cope with difficult life transitions, to understand and adjust unhelpful or self-destructive behaviours.

I want to make your mind a happier place to be.

Using the metaphor of a physical workout (something we can all understand) this book will support you in setting and achieving your mental health goals. It is packed with the professional experience and information that you need to get your mental health into really good shape.

There’s never been a better time to put your mental health at the top of your daily agenda. Zoë’s call to action and practical tools will help you make the changes you need to become mentally and physically stronger, happier and more resilient.
