Better Read Book Fest

  • Abergavenny, Wales United Kingdom (map)

If you love self-help books, this one deserves a place in your diary.

Created by wellbeing author and Shelf Help favourite Gabrielle Treanor, Better Read Book Fest is the UK's first literary festival dedicated entirely to books on self-development, mental health and emotional wellbeing. It's a full day of inspiring conversations with some of the biggest names in wellbeing publishing, bringing readers and authors together to celebrate the books that help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.

Shelf Help’s Toni will be hosting two live panel discussions during the day, interviewing some of the UK's best-loved wellbeing authors, including Natalie Lue, Natasha Page, Dr Sula Windgassen, and sisters Nadia Narain and Katia Narain Phillips.

The festival also features conversations with Dr Emma Hepburn, Dr Helen Wall and Suzy Reading, alongside opportunities to ask questions, meet the authors and have your books signed.

Whether you're a lifelong self-help reader, work in wellbeing yourself, or simply want to spend a day surrounded by thoughtful conversations and like-minded people, Better Read Book Fest is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the ideas, stories and practical tools that can genuinely change lives.

Come for the books. Stay for the conversations. Leave feeling inspired.
